Unsupervised pretraining in biological neural network

This dataset include all the behavioral and neural data for the paper "Unsupervised pretraining in biological neural network". Please see the paper and code repository for more details about the data acquisition and analysis.

Data files:

\beh contains behavioral data of all recording sessions of all experiments

\beh\Unsupervised_pretraining_behavior contains behavioral data of 3 different cohorts:

1. Beh_pretrain_on_nat_image.npy: pretrained and task learning on the same naturalistic stimuli.
2. Beh_pretrain_on_grat_image.npy: pretrained on gratings while task learning on naturalistic stimuli.
3. Beh_no_pretrain.npy: no pretraining and task learning on naturalistic stimuli.

\spk contains all recording sessions

\SVD_dec contains the dimensionality reduction of neural activity (keeping the first 400 PCs) for all recording sessions

\retinotopy contains the retinotopy information of recorded neurons
