The Looger Lab and the GENIE Project Team at HHMI Janelia have developed a new suite of jGCaMP8 Calcium indicators, built upon the successful GCaMP6 and jGCaMP7 scaffolds. The new jGCaMP8 sensors have fast kinetics and high sensitivity, suitable for in vivo imaging.

UPDATE (12/18/20)

The Genie Project team will be making AAVs available on a first come first served basis. We anticipate the first variants being ready in January for distribution. If you are interested in obtaining AAV aliquots, please fill out this form.

Addgene will be handling long-term distribution of our full catalog of AAV constructs with several serotypes available in late spring 2021.
